Million-Dollar Membership Site

Overview

In December 2020, I was approached to build a membership platform for course delivery under tight time constraints. The project needed to launch by January 2021 to support a new course release. What started as a simple membership site evolved into a sophisticated platform handling multiple courses and thousands of users.

The Journey

We began with a straightforward approach: building a presentation website with basic membership functionality for a single course. The initial launch was successful, allowing the client to secure a multiple six-figure product launch.

As the platform grew, we continuously added features and improvements. Key developments included:

• An admin dashboard for user management
• Multi-course support with granular access permissions
• Integration with Gumroad for product sales and with NOWPayments for crypto payments

Key Achievements

• Scalable Platform: Successfully handling 1,400+ regular users
• Revenue Generation: Enabled multiple six-figure revenue through course sales
• Complex Access Control: Implemented sophisticated permission system for multiple courses
