privacy policy_
Last updated: May 29, 2026
The short version: I collect minimal, anonymized data about your visit using privacy-focused analytics. No personal information is sold or shared. You can contact me anytime about your data.
What I collect
I use Fathom Analytics to understand how visitors use this site:
- Pages you visit and how long you stay
- Which country you're visiting from (not your specific location)
- Which device and browser you're using
- Which site referred you here
Fathom is cookieless, doesn't track you across sites, and anonymizes your IP. No personal data is collected.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email is sent to beehiiv (my newsletter provider) to deliver issues. If you email or message me, I only have what you choose to share, and use it only to reply.
What I don't collect
- No tracking cookies
- No personal information without your consent
- No data from third-party social networks
- No advertising data or profiles
- No sale of any data to third parties
External services
This site relies on a few external services, each with their own privacy policy:
- Fathom Analytics: privacy-focused, cookieless website analytics
- beehiiv: newsletter delivery, if you subscribe
- Social platforms (Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, GitHub) when you follow those links
Your rights
- Know what data I have about you (very little)
- Request deletion of any personal information
- Opt out of analytics with an ad blocker or privacy browser
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time
Changes
If I change this policy, I'll update the date above. For significant changes, I may post about it on social media.
